At the end of each year, I would usually reflect upon the last 12 months and write them in my journal. It has been a therapeutic exercise to spend the last few days of a year and sometimes spilling over to the first few years of the new year re-living the past moments. I get closure with the period of time called “last year” that gave me much joy and sorrow and start my relationship with a “new year” carrying little baggage from the past.
While the words of those past years remain in my journal, “That Year” summarizes those times by pictures. It’s a photo journal of the journey that year was.
